We are holding in-person worship in our sanctuary on Sundays. Social distancing will be observed for now. Masks are optional and are recommended for unvaccinated people for their personal safety. You are also welcome to join us each Sunday online by logging into this website and clicking on the F underneath the What We Believe box.
Studies & Weekly Devotions
Pastor Steve Smith is leading fellowship and study time on THURSDAY evenings from 7-8 on Zoom. If you would like to join the group please contact Pastor Steve at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Bible study group meets on Tuesdays at 1 pm in the church family room.
CHURCH SCHOOL (Christian Ed for Children & Youth)
BLAST, (Bible Learning Adventure Station Time) meets weekly on our church website www.fumcbangor.org Sunday school on Sunday, September 19th.
Pre Fair Sale
Baskets, hand-carved cardinals, hand-made quilts, and other beautiful items will be available for sale beginning on October 23rd on Market Place & Sell and Swap. Purchased items need to be picked up on Friday, October 29th or November 5th at the church.
Our next take out bean supper will be on Saturday, October 23 from 4-6. Drive up and pick up beans, cornbread or brown bread, salads, and pies.
Packets for the Homeless
Faith Linking in Action is in partnership with the Greater Bangor Area Homeless Coalition to make packets for the homeless. There is a collection box for any of the following items in the narthex: Pencil cases and other hard plastic containers, Gallon sized Zip-Loc bags, Hand warmers, Face Masks, Adult socks, Adult gloves, Adult hats, Toothbrushes, Combs and hairbrushes, Pads and tampons.
Travel sizes of the following: Hand sanitizer, shampoo, baby powder, conditioner, deodorant, soap (liquid or bar) and toothpaste.
FOOD CUPBOARD NEEDS FOR THIS MONTH Any non-perishable food and toiletry donations are welcome!
Items for the Ecumenical Food Cupboard can be dropped off at the church on Thursdays between 10 and 1:00 and will be delivered to the Food Cupboard.
Our church office is now open Monday from 7:30-10:30, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30-12 and Thursday 7:30-10:30. If you have a need when the office is not open, please leave a message on the church answering machine 945-9567, send an email to email@example.com or in case of emergency contact Pastor Steve directly at 866-2144.
