First Time Worshipper information...
We try to offer a diverse program with ample opportunity for study, service, and fellowship and provide for both traditional and informal contemporary worship services. We believe worship is a time to praise God and a time to be thankful for all God has done and is doing in our lives. It is a time to be renewed and rejuvenated for the week's work and service. We hope that you will like what you find here and will want to join us.
Our love of God makes us a community. We believe Jesus Christ is the center of all we do and through a personal relationship with Him, we discover what God intends for us to be doing with our lives. If you should choose to become a part of our church family, you can expect to find this kind of closeness to our Lord.
WORSHIP SERVICES
- 9:00 am is our Early Worship Celebration - this service is an informal worship service that is held in the sanctuary. Special music is frequently provided and may include the "Sounds of Praise" Choir, soloists, our own church band and children's choirs. Communion will be served the second sunday of every month. Free childcare will be available in the nursery for children ages 0-3.
- 10:50 am is our Traditional Worship Service - this service is the larger of our two services. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. Our Fellowship Choir sings regularly and special music is frequently offered which may include the "Hallelujah Ringers", "Agape Ringers", "Cherub Choir", "Glory & Praise" Choir. Free childcare is provided for ages 0 - 3 years old in our nursery.
- COMMUNION is generally offered on the first Sunday of each month at the 10:50 worship service and the second Sunday of the month at our 9:00am service.
RECEPTION OF MEMBERS AND BAPTISMS: We welcome new members by profession of faith or transfer from other Methodist Churches and receive members 2-3 times a year. Baptisms are done upon request of the family and are scheduled through the church office. Those interested in membership, baptism or weddings may call the office at 945-9567 to make an appointment.
